I wonder how often it happens in the life of a teacher that one of their students brings alcohol that they made themselves to class and offers everyone a shot. It was certainly the first time for me. I never knew you could make such nice alcohol out of those tiny little berries I see everywhere

Olomouc today for the last workshop of the bundle for me. The workshop was in a secondary school and this picture was adorning one of the walls outside the classroom I was in. Check out the typewriters :-)

Rather tired after the wedding celebrations, and having to drive the hour back to Brno, we stopped to indulge in a little retail therapy on the way home. I have no idea how much money was spent on it, or indeed why the shopping centre felt the need to spend any money on this interesting winter wonderland that stands bang smack in the middle of the shopping centre.

Tom and Gabka got married today. The wedding was typically Moravian and one of the things which made it such, was the live music that played almost non-stop from 5pm til 3am.

Travelling to another town to do a talk tomorrow. Arrived in Plzen and as this was my first time in the city, a litte walk around the pretty main square was in order. I'm afraid to say I have no idea what this building is, but it looked magnificent, shining in the evening light.
