This week I'm teaching in Norwich at a school based at UEA. This isn't the clearest picture in the world, but it shows Eddie Izzard, who was given an honorary doctorate by UEA for his contribution to Modern Languages. Must have been for this sketch.

We thought leaving at 11pm and driving through the night to Croatia would beat the traffic. So did everyone else. This is the humongous queue that greeted us just as we'd crossed the Slovenian border.

Czechoslovakia's Got Talent appear to be holding their auditions in Brno at the moment. Hhhmmm, I wonder if they'd consider teaching English a talent. I sometimes do :-)
